Saw this on Brand New . It only works as comedy if you work for a digital agency. I would argue against going digital for this campaign though. I would use a combination of coupon placement in the supermarket & Experential Marketing to sell the soup.....
However that is my opinion and this video was made as a satire so nevermind.....
This is all Microsoft needed to do in the first place. Call apple out on its BS "we're too cool" commercials and explain to the consumer that they make computers in order to make money just like us.
Instead Microsoft wanted to battle Apple in the pop culture realm and came off looking weird and out of touch. Now that America is in a recession this would be the perfect time to emphasize that Microsoft makes decent computers for a lot less money than the cheapest Apple computer.
